Integral to the ethos of all Future Stars activity is ensuring that through the medium of sport we provide bespoke educational solutions for a variety of partners.
The work of our charity enables us to provide education and training to young people to improve their opportunities and reduce social exclusion.
Our previous projects have varied from work with local authorities providing for underprivileged youth to collaborations with correctional institutions to enable both adult and youth offenders to return to normal life and preventing re-offending.
These programmes include the delivery of a variety of qualifications to up-skill the young population and increase their employability through various coaching awards and strength and conditioning qualifications
Our flagship activity is providing full time elite sporting performance programmes for 16-19 year olds. Future Stars is very proud of their partnership with top sporting organisations which provide the specialist coaching on the young athletes on our programmes.
Each aspiring young student athlete receives a tailor made full time programme consisting of a minimum of 10 hour of sports specific training per week in addition to 4 hours of strength and conditioning training fully integrated with their academic programme.
Our partnerships with numerous educational institutions ensures that we are able to offer our young athletes an academic programme that typically consists of A levels or a Level 3 BTEC National Sport qualification which is designed to allow student athletes to apply their newly acquired theoretical knowledge to improving their sports performance. The qualification is aimed at those aspiring to a career in sport and the health and leisure industry. The course not only serves as a route to full time employment within sports related fields, it is also a proven progression route to Higher Education.
Future Stars also has linked exit routes with extensive links with both University programmes and Sporting Organisations throughout Europe.
